How do you become a pro gamer? The term seems to be flying around like it means nothing these days, if someone gets a double no scope in Halo, they are ‘pro’ or if you get a 20 kill spree in Call of Duty, you are ‘pro’ – no.
The official term pro gamer is that you are earning a consistent amount of money for playing video games; this applies to only a small group of lucky people who happen to have developed their talents to the highest level.
While the Pro Console Gamers seemed to be only exclusive to the USA, the players in Europe are catching up and there are loads of new events popping up to show it. The Matchbox 360 XL event is held every few months and is the premiere competitive console gaming event in the United Kingdom, hundreds of gamers come together to play for big money.
How can I become a pro gamer you say? Simple, attend events, get to know people, start playing with the players that are better than you and you will indeed improve. Learn from your mistakes and be dedicated, find a solid team and stick together, and maybe one day you will be representing your country in Esports. Comments (0)
