London Mint’s racer’s Steven ‘Stune’ Embling and Nick ‘NT 101’ Townsend have made no secret of the fact they are already taking their practice very seriously despite having far longer to prepare than the US players, who compete place next week in Austin Texas.

“For me every day between now and the combine is critical in terms of practice. We may still have a long time to prepare ourselves, but that time goes by quicker than you’d think when you have four big university coursework projects due in during that time”
-says Stune, who is clearly very conscientious about the balance between spending time practicing for CGS and his university work.

The following video shows a short race between Stune (Red) and NT 101 (black) as they race with collisions off to explore the best racing lines on the twisty Diamondback track. They are both driving the mighty 800bhp TVR Speed 12.

This is just an early practice video and both racers admit there is room for improvement in their lap times and consistency between now and May, but this does give a small insight as to what London Mint’s energetic racers have been up to over the past couple of weeks.
